The Bahia Vista Condo on Madera Beach in Zihuatanejo is actually two condos in one. One condo overlooks Playa La Madera and Zihuatanejo Bay and the adjoining condo overlooks the town of Zihuatanejo. The condos are in the Bahia Suites Building, just uphill from the beach and a short oceanfront walk to downtown markets, shopping and restaurants. The condos can be rented together as a unit or separately. Both sides have air-conditioning, satellite TV, VCR, video and paperback libraries, wireless high-speed Internet access, kitchen with small appliances, all tableware and cookware and bath towels. There is security on premise and guests have swimming pool privileges.

The Combination Condo offers one of the most comfortable accommodations in Zihuatanejo: a 2+ bedroom, 3-1/2 bath suite with views on one side overlooking the ocean, views from the terraces on the other side overlooking Zihuatanejo and its surrounding mountains. It has a combination of open air and enclosed living spaces with optional air-conditioning.
The condo can accommodate as many as six guests; the sofa in the living/dining area on the townside converts to two single beds, providing, in effect, 3 bedrooms. Guests have a choice of kitchens, ocean or town views, 3 1/2 bathrooms and sleeping privacy. And the ocean breeze blowing through the building is wonderful!

The Bayside has a living/dining/kitchen area (right) open to the view of Madera Beach and Zihuatanejo Bay. Awnings can be raised or lowered to control the light. Since the area is open it is not airconditioned, but it has ceiling fans and there is almost always a nice ocean breeze. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with gourmet-cooking appliances stored under the counter. There is a full bathroom behind the kitchen by the entrance.

The bayside bedroom (left) can be closed off from the living/dining area or opened up to the ocean view. When closed off it can be air-conditioned.

Within the master suite there is a a half bathroom and a small workspace (ideal for a laptop and taking advantage of the high-speed wireless Internet access) or a dressing area.

The Townside Condo consists of a kitchen and living/dining room and an adjoining bedroom (left). Each room can be closed off for privacy and each room has a small terrace overlooking Zihuatanejo and the surrounding mountains.

The bedroom has a king-size bed and an adjoining bathroom. The living room has a sofa that can be converted to 2 single beds. This, in effect, provides another bedroom.

The kitchen (right) is an efficiency, but it is fully equipped.

Both the bedroom and the living/dining/kitchen rooms are air-conditioned.

There is a second full bathroom off the living room area.
